Aneesa of the Upcoming MTV Inferno 3 Speaks at the University of Maryland

Aneesa Ferreira from the upcoming Inferno 3 Real World Road Rules Challenge will be speaking at the University of Maryland Thursday March 29th, 2007.

The annual event from the Multiracial and Biracial Student Association is called The Real Mixed World and starts at 7pm along with music by Eva Castillo.

The event is being held at the Colony Ballroom at the Stamp Student Union within the University of Maryland campus located in College Park, Maryland.

There is even a YouTube video they created in The Real World style on the MBSA homepage.

Aneesa will be speaking on her background of being mixed race and why she is so proud of it.  Specifically she will talk about the argument which brought up her mixed race status with Robin Hibbard of The Real World San Diego during The Duel Challenge.

Aneesa  has been on 5 Real World Challenges including the upcoming Inferno 3 Challenge in April.  Her previous challenges were Battle of the Sexes 1 & 2, Gauntlet 2, & The Duel.


Real World Svetlana Shusterman Upcoming Jewish Community Center Appearance

Svetlana Shusterman of The Real World Key West and the recently aired My Super Sweet 21 Show will be appearing at the Baltimore Jewish Community Center on Sunday March 25th, 2007 from 3 to 5pm.

Svetlana will be speaking at the Owings Mills Jewish Community Center located at 3506 Gwynnbrook Avenue in Owings Mills Maryland about her experience as a first generation immigrant. her identity as a Russian Jew, and how being on The Real World has changed her life.

Svetlana Shusterman was also interviewed by Maayan Jaffe at the Baltimore Jewish Times and was released today Friday March 23rd, 2007.

In the article Svetlana was shocked by the new mindset of the Real World cast members where the entire goal of the cast is to be famous and make all the money you can from it.


Real World 20 Casting Calls in April including Boston

The early April Real World Road Rules casting call auditions were just announced and will be in Boston, Milwaukee, St. Louis, Columbia South Carolina, & Columbus Ohio.

An additional casting call on Saturday March 31st in San Antonio, Texas was also just released. This will be at the Rivercenter Comedy Club within the Rivercenter Mall from 10am to 5pm. The address is 849 East Commerce Suite 893 in San Antonio, Texas 78205.

In April the casting calls start on April 3rd in Milwuakee, St. Louis, & Columbia South Carolina.

The Milwaukee Real World audition will be at the Rock Bottom Restaurant and Brewery. This will run from 11am to 6pm at 740 North Plankinton Avenue #1 Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53203.

On the same day and time there will also be Real World Road Rules casting call in Harry’s Restaurant and Bar at 2144 Market Street in St. Louis, Missouri 63103.

A third audition on Tuesday April 3rd will be held at the University of South Carolina in Columbia.  It will be located in the Russell House Ballroom at 1400 Greene Street Russell House 227 Columbia, South Carolina 29208

On Saturday April 14th there are currently 2 Real World Road Rules casting calls in Boston and Columbus Ohio from 10am to 5pm.

Ned Devine’s in Boston Massachusetts will host the Real World audtion at the famous Faneuil Hall Marketplace within the Quincy Market Building.

Also in Ohio there will be a casting call at Panini’s Bar and Grill at 1716 North High Street in Columbus, Ohio 43201.

For advice the Milwaukee Journal Sentinal asked the supervising casting director Damon Furberg and he replied:

“We don’t want to cast people who feel like emulating behavior they’ve seen on the show, or acting like a particular person that we’ve already seen is going to help them out.

“I almost immediately tune out when somebody says, ‘I’m just like Puck,’ ” he tells Inside TV & Radio. Puck was the on-camera name of scruffy bike messenger David Rainey, whose disruptive behavior got him kicked off the show in the 1994 San Francisco season.

“Puck was cool,” Furberg says. “He was definitely one of the biggest personalities we’ve had on the show. But we already had Puck on the show. We don’t need Puck Jr.”


Real World Road Rules Casting Call in Tempe and Nashville

There will be a Real World 20 & Road Rules casting call on Saturday March 31st in Tempe Arizona & Nashville Tennessee for applicants between the ages of 18 and 24.

Here are tips from the previous round of casting calls of what it takes to be cast on the Real World.

The Tempe Arizona Real World Road Rules casting call will be at Zuma Grill from 10am to 5pm on Saturday March 31st.  Zuma Grill is located at 605 South Mill Avenue.

On that same Saturday March 31st from 10am to 5pm there will also be a Real World casting call in Nashville, Tennessee at Buffalo Billiards.  This venue is located at 154 Second Avenue North.

Bunim-Murray Productions is the sole and ONLY casting service for the Real World & Road Rules.  They ask that all applicants bring a valid ID and a photo of themselves, of which the photo will not be returned.


MTV Lecture with Diem Brown and Davis Mallory in Long Island New York

Diem Brown from the MTV Fresh Meat Challenges and Davis Mallory of the Real World Denver will be lecturing at Suffolk County Community College in Long Island, New York today.

The dual lecture will take place at 7pm in the Montauk Point Room of the Babylon Student Center within the Ammerman Campus on 533 College Road Selden, New York.

Diem will have a DVD presentation with her lecture on her struggle with ovarian cancer and her involvement with Live for the Challenge which is a website for everyone that struggles with a variety of medical ailments that needs assistance.

Davis will lecture about the duality of being Christian and a homosexual in regards to how this affected his life and family relationships.

The lecture should last until 9pm with a Meet & Greet session for pictures and autographs.
