Heather B, of the first Real World that took place in New York City back in 1992, has a show on XM radio called Spitkicker Radio that airs on Saturdays at 6pm EST. She made an interesting statement recently on the show about the current state of rap today:
“If I’m not feeling the new generation of rap artists, is it because they’re micro-perfecting a previously existing style, or that the genre has lost some juice since the days when it served as the official soundtrack to summer in the Bronx, or simply because I’m too old to get the gist of what the Young Jeezys of the world are about?”
Heather has put out 2 rap albums of her own. One in 1995 called “Takin’ Mine” and a 2nd album in 2002 called “Eternal Affairs”.
