Casting calls for the 22nd season of The Real World on MTV will continue through October 2008.
The locations for these casting calls in early October are:
- New York City
- Bloomington, Indiana
- Fresno, California
- Little Rock, Arkansas
- State College, Pennsylvania
- Lincoln, Nebraska
These qualities will give you an edge but are NOT a requirement:
- Leadership experience – such as a student government position, college RA, or camp counselor
- Musical ability
- Seasoned travelers who speak Spanish
- Lifesaving skills – such as a lifeguard or EMT
- Athleticism – particularly water sports
My current feeling is that the location for the Real World 22 will be in San Juan Puerto Rico.

Little Rock, AR is Arkansas… not Arizona. That might be a little misleading for your readers. Arizona’s state abbreviation is AZ.

Hey MM, You think they will go out the country again? I mean based on what they are saying in the requirements but NOT REQUIRED tho, I think you might be absolute right? but then again who knows? I mean wasn’t they was asking fans on which city they should shoot in and I think if i am not mistaking, Washington DC & Atlanta is the two cities in the lead for season 22? There is no telling,

I was near certain with the political requirements of the casting last season that the current one would have been in DC rather than Brooklyn.
Seems DC & Atlanta are the 2 cities always kicked around lately but ultimately kicked out of the selection process.

PR is just my logical guess from the preferences the casting directors are looking for.
So far Puerto Rico is not expected to host a casting call, although you could still directly contact Bunim-Murray via email for consideration.

They should contact you within a month if chosen to go to the next round.

Would they really have it in PR? I thought DC would’ve been a wiser choice considering the inagruation of the first black president in mid january (probably around the time they move in). It’s going to be CRAZY during that time. I think there’s lots more to do in DC than PR as well. I guess we’ll see what happens. Keep me updated?
