The Times-Picayune wrote an article today on Nicole Edison, who will be known on the Real World Denver as Colie.
Her story on being selected is similar to most cast members who get onto the Real World as she didnt plan on going to the Real World casting call but rather saw a group of people, wanted to see what was going on, and then filled out an application. She stated, “I really never had it in my mind. I just walked in and the casting process began there.”
She was used to the bars in New Orleans being open all night and was shocked that the bars in Denver closed at 2AM.
When speaking about Denver itself she said, ”I ended up really, really loving Denver. There’s a lot to do. The night life was very young. It’s like the singles capital of America or something.”
“Our reaction from locals was mixed. There’s definitely half of them that would buy us shots at night and love us. The other half was like, ‘ “Real World” sucks. Da-da-da-da.’ Not happy we were invading their city. We met with the actual mayor. He was really happy about it.”
