MTV has begun filming The Real World 21 season this week in Brooklyn, New York within the Red Hook area.
The Real World house has settled on the Pier 41 building as disclosed on the MM Agency blog over a month ago.
The people at NewYorkology.com took photos of the cast as they were leaving the Pier 41 Real World house and walking toward Van Brunt in the Red Hook area of Brooklyn today.
The photos seems to show eight instead of the normal seven cast members, unless I am mistaking part of the crew as one of the cast.
There looks to be four women and four men, an all mostly white cast, and I do not think I would be out on a limb stating the gentleman with the purple pink scarf is gay.

Here are a few cities that I think would be worthy of a FUTURE Read World House: Dallas, Vancouver, Atlanta, Nashville or Detroit.
I think Texas is WAY TOO BIG of a state to only have one Real World season (Austin 2005).
If the Real World were to be filmed in Canada, then I think Vancouver would be an ideal site.
I’ve been in Dallas twice before, and I think the West End area of downtown Dallas would a perfect site for a Real World house.
Dude,
All of them are not white. They are obviously very diverse people, even looking at them from behind…
@Ashley,
That was my initial observation – but you are correct, as looking at the newer photos and even looking more closely at this one there seems to be an African American or Latino cast member.
MAN!! finally a little sneek peek,
