MTV will be casting one of The Real World 22 cast members online as it did for The Real World Hollywood season, obviously not learning the lesson when Greg Halstead won the online voting contest when 2.9 million total votes were cast in 2007.
There will be four rounds of the online casting process which will end on December 10th, 2008 – http://realworldcasting.mtv.com/people/new
The first round that begun on Wednesday October 8th is termed Meet and Greet and will last until 9PM EST on November 11th, 2008 with the top 50% moving onto the next round.
- You must upload at least one video of about yourself with your name, age, occupation, hometown, and then describe why you would be a good roommate that is also an entertaining and engaging TV personality.
- Upload at least 3 photos of yourself with at least one clear headshot.
- Write at least one blog entry describing if you were cast on the RW, what would your family be surprised to learn about you as well which of your activities or behaviors would you NOT want your family to see on TV?
For the later half of October you can enter a casting call in person if you live in the following areas:
- Knoxville Tennessee – Tuesday October 14th from 11am to 6pm at
Electric Cowboy on 109 North Seven Oaks Drive - Anchorage Alaska – Saturday October 18th from 10am to 5pm at the University of Alaska Anchorage, Student Union Building on 3211 Providence Drive
- Tempe Arizona – Saturday October 18th from 10am to 5pm at The Big Bang Dueling Piano Bar on 501 South Mill Avenue, #B101
- Madison Wisconsin – Sunday October 19th from 11am to 6pm at Brother’s Bar and Grill on 704 University Avenue

Man, I hope they didnt think i was sending in mulitiple emails, the first email I sent was about me and i forgot to add the pictures on IT! I sent the same one again with the pictures on it, so i hope they look at the second one i sent in,………………..I can’t beleive they startin up that online casting again? well i hope its a fixed this time, lol
