MM Agency on-site investigative reporter, Joanny Rosario, went to The Real World Brooklyn building, BellTel Lofts at 365 Bridge Street, to take note of the construction while also uncovering that filming may be pushed back to start in mid August and that they might not even film there because of some issues with the building itself.

Joanny took the R train to the Lawrence street stop, which is directly on the corner of the BellTel Lofts, and after signing in at reception took the elevator up to the top floors.

The construction people working on the floors actually gave her a tour of the place while she noticed how unkempt and small each floor actually was as they tear down wall after wall.

She even got a great view from the terrace on the 26th floor as the 24th, 25th, & 26th floors are those that are leased for the show. The cast would actually live on the 25th and 26th floors while production is on the 24th floor.

A notice for the cables and wires that were dropped off had the date of pick up being November 17th, 2008 thus filming for The Real World Brooklyn should end before then with the cast being home by Thanksgiving.
An intern from Hunter College who is working for MTV provided an interesting statement that The Real World may not even film there because they were having some issues with the BellTel Lofts building with the location at 116 Third Place in Carroll Gardens as the backup.
*** The BellTel Board contacted the MM Agency and specified that the “issues” with the building is in regard to MTV waiting for permits as they are renovating the penthouse apartments to their own specifications.
