Pedro, the film on The Real World San Francisco cast member who was both openly gay and HIV-positive on the show will premiere on MTV April 1st, 2009 at 8pm.
Pedro Zamora himself appeared on the third Real World season back in 1994 and dying from his disease at the age of 22 on the exact say day the final episode aired of The Real World San Francisco.
The movie Pedro follows Pedro as he found out he was HIV-positive at 17 and then dedicating his life to speaking out to create awareness of the disease.
The film was made in 2008 and was part of the Toronto International Film Festival.
Alex Loynaz plays Pedro and curiously Matt Barr plays Puck!
