Ryan Conklin from The Real World Brooklyn season is now back in Baghdad Iraq for a 2nd tour this time with the North Carolina National Guard.

Since The Real World Brooklyn concluded Ryan had been training at several southern forts including Fort Jackson in South Carolina, Fort Benning in Georgia, Camp Shelby in Mississippi, and finally Fort Bragg in North Carolina.

Although Ryan has never been to North Carolina before he is now fighting for the state’s National Guard in the 30th Heavy Brigade Combat Team and in the 252nd CAB of the 30th.

He states he is in good spirits as he will be performing again as an infantryman but not to the extreme as his first tour since he will just be supporting the the Iraqis who he affirms are actually doing a lot more of the work than before.

Ryan Conklin’s rotation may be as little as 9 months rather than the year plus tour he did previously.

He claims he has almost no fear as he has over 100 times the people praying for his safety in Iraq and is absolutely confident he will be back not only to the United States but on TV again.

Ryan A. Conklin is in so many people’s hearts and prayers, for one single reason: humility. By putting his country and fellow soldiers first. He will perform excellently in Iraq, he will return to family, friends, a greatful COUNTRY, and a bright future.

    May God keep you safe.
