
Parisa Montazaran on The Real World Sydney is the first Iranian American to be cast for a Real World series on MTV.
Parisa is the daughter of Iranian immigrants who was raised speaking both English and Persian, attending Persian school on the weekends and public school during the week.
She was cast onto The Real World by a scheduled casting call appointment made by the Delta Phi Epsilon sorority at NYU during her junior year as she was able to get a private interview by the casting directors at hand.
Parisa Montazaran has completed her degree at NYU just before leaving to Sydney, Australia in December 2006 as she majored in international relations, middle eastern studies, and economics where with post graduate studies she hopes work on US -Iranian diplomacy while pursuing a career in the performing arts.
Parisa is currently recording her first album and doing commercial voice overs as she has sung at events from high school to college and ultimately professional venues in the New York City area.
