Jamie Chung was first seen on MTV in 2004 on The Real World San Diego and now will be the lead role on ABC’s Samurai Girl premiering on Friday September 5th, 2008.
Jamie plays the role of Heaven, the nineteen year old adopted daughter of wealthy powerful Japanese family. Protected and watched over her whole life things drastically change for Heaven when she is sent to San Francisco for an arranged wedding.
Jamie told the Boston Herald yesterday echoing what I wrote last year that Reality TV hurts acting , “If anything, it made it more challenging. When I would go in to audition, they wanted to make sure I was taking it seriously. Someone from a reality background would blow it off. That’s the stereotype. Acting is something that I always wanted to do. I did plays in middle school, high school and college, but it was drilled into me get an education and climb the corporate ladder.”
Jamie was also in the movie I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry, Maxim magazine, music video Umbrella by Rihanna, and other television series inlcluding Days of Our Lives, Greek, CSI New York, and Veronica Mars.

There will be two new replacement cast members this week on The Real World Hollywood as Nick Brown and Brittini Sherrod join the cast for the departed Greg and Joey.
Nick seems to follow in Greg’s mold as far as personality and the fact they both went to college in Florida and pursuing a career in modeling.
It is interesting to note that instead of bringing back two males the Bunim-Murray Production staff choose the replacement cast members to be a male and a female.
Each season of The Real World alternates the cast gender ratio of four to three so the tail end of this season flip flops back to the ratio of the Sydney season and the expected four female to three male ratio of the upcoming Real World Brooklyn season.

The upcoming Real World Road Rules Challenge Duel 2 has begun in Panama with the cast members flying out over the previous weekend.
This is the last challenge is that is under contract with MTV as is the upcoming Real World Brooklyn season that is filming this summer.
The facts uncovered from the MM Agency and Vevmo about this challenge is that:
- There is no final title to the challenge, but the presumptive title is The Duel 2
- It will last until July 11th, 2008
- The cast were told to watch previous Survivor episodes to prepare them for this challenge.
- The Challenge will be in Panama where Survivor was previous filmed, which leads to the speculation that it will be at the Pearl Islands.
- The cast were told to not bring any electric products

The BellTel Lofts officially became the Real World Brooklyn house when David Bistricer, owner of the building, signed the contract on Friday May 31st, 2008.
The 27 story 250 unit former Verizon building is located in downtown Brooklyn at 365 Bridge Street.
The residence of the Real World Brooklyn cast within the building will be the penthouse which consists of the 26th and 27th floors and valued at $6 million.
Total square footage of the living area is just over 5,000 square feet which makes it the smallest Real World dwelling ever!
Currently there are 30 finalists for the cast and filming will start in July 2008 before airing on January 2009.

???????? ????? ????????Johanna Botta was to represent as Miss Peru USA at the Miss Peru Universe 2008 Pageant but left after constant pressure from the organization to get plastic surgery along with her sense of the pageant’s corruption as well disorganization.
I asked Johanna directly what happened and to provide her true thoughts and facts of the situation.
Johanna was in Peru for 4 months getting ready for the event attending classes and events, but was dismayed when the dates for the actual pageant changed from late February, to various dates in March, before settling on April 16th, 2008 as the final date. The Peru Beauty Pageant was actually held on Thursday May 1st, 2008 with the winner being Karol Castillo.
The main sponsor of the 2008 Miss Peru Pageant was a plastic surgeon so there was constant pressure for Johanna to get the free plastic surgery for her nose and breasts. She states she has nothing against plastic surgery, but did not like the fact people were telling her to get it done.
She wanted to make sure as a result of this, “that I wish so many young girls were not pressured into doing stupid things just for the idea of perhaps winning.”
Johanna also shared other thoughts like the similar controversy in some respect to her season of The Real World Austin winning the best season at the Real World Awards Bash. She chalk’s this up to her season having more recent fans than what most felt was the presumptive winner being The Real World San Diego.
Johanna Botta now lives in Los Angeles and as she stated in her Maxim photo shoot, she is still “single and ready to mingle.”
Johanna and Wes broke up as they both wanted different things at the time, but are still best friends and talk all the time.
She also confirmed she is still looking for a guy that is nice, kind, likes helping people, has looks, a great personality, makes her laugh, is intelligent, kind, and not superman. Of those she states having intelligence and a great personality are at the top.
Johanna has NO COMMENT on the upcoming Challenge scheduled to shoot in June 2008, but said she thought it was very strange for the next Real World to be in Brooklyn New York.

It is confirmed today that The Real World 21 season will be filming in Brooklyn New York during the summer of 2008 and airing in early 2009.
MTV just green-lit the 21st season of The Real World series as the contract with Bunim-Murray Productions concluded at season 20.
The reason MTV did this was due to the initial success of The Real World Hollywood season as it is the #1 show on Wednesday’s 10pm to 11pm for 12 to 34 year olds reaching over 44 million viewers as well bringing over 3 million viewers online.
What is interesting to note is that the people cast for the show are to be political activists while during the summer in Brooklyn there is a campaign for the 10th Congressional District.
One of the candidates running for Congress in Brooklyn at this time is Kevin Powell from the 1st Real World season back in 1992 that was set in New York.
