Syrus Yarbrough from the Real World Boston was recently announced as the 11th man on the opening home game roster for the American Basketball Association’s Hollywood Fame.

The home opener is on Friday December 15th at Santa Monica College against the Big Valley Shockwave at 7:05 pm.

Syrus played basketball collegiately at Santa Monica College and then the University of Hawaii.  As seen in the picture above he was a special guest of the Boston Celtics shooting before the game and meeting the players including, Paul Pierce, while in Boston doing appearances for the MM Agency.

Syrus will be fully participating with the team and available to play in the game.

“I’m pumped!” exclaimed Syrus. “Since college you look for that one moment to get back on the court and into the spotlight with the crowd behind you. What better place to get back into the fame than with the Fame at their home opener no less. I am definitely excited.”

The Hollywood flame is the newest team to join the ABA & owned by a slew of celebrities including Nick Lachey, Stacy Keibler, John Salley, & AJ Discala.

Syrus Real World

A posting in the Real World Blogspot reminded me to mention that Syrus from Real World Boston is doing a Student Travel Service Spring Break promotion throughout New England these past 2 weeks.

I just spoke to him to see how things are in my old stomping grounds and his favorite place to visit when not back at Santa Monica California.  He had the Boston Harbor cruise with Cameran from Real World San Diego last week and said it went great.  He is giving away spring break trips from STS at these events and the TBD event on Saturday September 30th is looking to be at The Place which is located at 2 Broad Street in Boston Massachusetts.

Syrus will be posting in this blog in the near future as the tour winds downs to talk about it.

In the future I will aim to post about Real World events that either I am booking or know of 2 weeks in advance.
