Ruthie was known as the drunk out of control roommate within the cast. Real World Hawaii was season 8 of the Real World and aired 1999.

Ruthie from Real World Hawaii would be great especially for DJing, alternative nightclub appearances, hosting events, and speaking on drinking, relationships, gay rights, and being Asian Pacific at college lectures.

Ruthie has been on several Real World Road Rules Challenges including in 2003 The Battle of the Sexes & again in 2004 for The Battle of the Sexes 2. She also participated in The Gauntlet 2 in late 2005 into 2006.
