Tyler now resides in Los Angeles, California. Tyler on the Real World Key West was known as the openly gay and athletic cast member who spoke his mind and shared his opinions often. Tyler has so far been on two Real World Road Rules Challenges of The Duel & The Gauntlet 3. He also appeared in the Real World Denver Casting Special, a weekly XM Satellite Network segment with HRC executive director Joe Solmonese (‘Duck Tales of the City”), and a broadcaster of the Gay Games in Chicago Illinois in 2006. Tyler speaks about his experience on the Real World by saying, "It was a really interesting experience. The truth is, I did not necessarily connect with everyone on the show, and Key West is one of those places where you might visit for a couple days ... but I am used to places like Cambridge and Somerville,"; Tyler speaking about the outside suburbs of Boston when attending Tufts University in Somerville Massachusetts. "I was definitely the victim of hetero-normative editing, and I think that I was made out to be the proverbial gay villain. But, I really think I grew and found the positive in every situation."
